I don't Know What to Put in My Dating Profile/Personal Ad

I know it is a little daunting and we all hate writing a profile . . .
most of us don't like to “blow our own trumpet”, we feel like its bragging but it can be easy to write a great profile!

You just need to invest a little time, (and what’s a little time when looking for someone special and even more so when that someone will share your passions, interests and lifestyle).

So, we want you to take full advantage of the Free membership and what is available to you, it is free for a reason. The Free membership gives you time to look at your dating profile and work on it at your own pace and at no cost - "Try before you buy" I think is the phrase.

First and foremost; get a photo uploaded that you like - if you can, use one that shows a little of who you are, doing something you love to do, or with your favorite place, book, etc. You can't get away from the fact that dating website members with a photograph in their profile have far more success than those who don't.

Next; get a pen and pad and spend a little time looking through other peoples profiles, not just those in your area or of the sort of person you are looking for - use your free membership to browse them all.
Some of us are very good at writing and in particular writing about ourselves and they are the profiles you searching for, as those of us who are not so good, can learn a lot from them and what they have written in their dating profile.
You are browsing for those that catch your attention, make you smile, help you relate to that person etc. When you find this good writing in another members profile, (that you like) or that says the things you would like to say, or describes the things you like to do, or the type of person you are. Make a note of it on you pad, these notes will make it so much easier when you come to write your own personal profile. We are sure you already know what you would like to say about yourself, but these notes should help you find the words.

You do not want to "copy" another persons profile, you want your own PERSONAL profile! but these notes should make writing your own date personal profile that much easier. Your notes will be from profiles that caught your attention, or imagination and as such should help you write a personal profile that can do the same for others.
It will be time well spent and could well take less time than the time you spend looking at the screen wondering what to write.
